Everyone please remember to show your Tiger Spirit this Friday night by turning on your blue porch lights. Let’s light up the town with a “blue glow.” If you haven’t purchased your blue light bulb yet, there are still a few available. Bulbs are $10 and can be purchased from Booster Club and Town Talk members or at Unique Market.
Town Talk offers condolences to the families of Jimmey Grant and Narvelene Christopher. Jimmey was a Stroud 1982 graduate and a lifelong resident of Milfay. He was retired from Creek County District #3 and was married to the former Angela Daniels. Narvelene Christopher attended school at South Stroud Elementary and Stroud High School. Her employment led her to reside in several states but she relocated back to Stroud in 2018. Both Jimmey and Narvelene and their families have been members of the Stroud/ Milfay communities for years and leave behind many friends who also mourn their deaths.
Fall has arrived and so have all the scarecrows on Main Street. A big thank you to Julie Bivin and Andrea Flatt Thompson for making our Main Street look festive. Have a great week and remember to turn your blue light on Friday night. Thank you, as always, for continuing to shop local………… first!
