Davenport bronc rider Blake Chowning was the first contestant at the 84th Annual Chandler Open Rodeo Friday and, above, gets a good spurring lick on his horse. At left, this year’s rodeo queen was Jacy Sanders of Wellston, top, and the princess was Olivia Taylor, from Perkins, bottom. Right, bullfighter Caleb Stephens multi-tasks by helping pull a bullrope in the chute on Friday. The high money winner at the rodeo was 16-year old Kaylynn Hamilton from Beggs, who won money in Barrel Racing and Breakaway Roping. Blessed with dry weather and unusually mild temperatures, the rodeo drew packed crowds Friday and Saturday.
