Schools in our area put five individuals and three teams in the top three in regional cross-country meets last week, and they and others will compete in the state meet on Wednesday.
Riley Randall from Meeker, above, took first in the Class 3A regional at Oklahoma Bible Academy with a 16:24.80, while Jordan Coody, top center, was second, with a 17:17.68. Meeker’s Callie Sellers, top right, was second at the OBA regional, running a 13:06.28 and placing just ahead of Chandler’s Leah Brannon, right, who ran 13:13.28. Chandler’s Cassie Wright and Prague’s McKinley Shieldknight finished fourth and fifth. Madison Ham, far right, took third in the Class 2A meet at Keifer, running 12:26.81
Prague’s girls took first as a team at the OBA regional and Chandler came in second. In the boys’ regional, North Rock Creek finished second and Meeker took third.
At Keifer, the Stroud Lady Tigers finished third.
