The Alpha Iota Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International met Thursday, April 20, 2023 in the Chandler High School Media Center. President Marilyn Young opened the meeting, welcoming essay winners, their families and 13 chapter members.

Ten Chandler BPA students qualified for state competition and seven were able to attend and compete earlier this month. Out of the seven competitors, four will be advancing to Nationals that will be held in Anaheim, California April 26-30th.

Eight young women and men are this year’s recipients of the Gordon Richards, Sr. Achievement Award sponsored by the Clinic Pharmacy. Tim and Jamie Barrick are owners of the pharmacy. This is the 78th year for the award that was originated in 1946 by the late Gordon Richards, Sr.
