Susan Yvonne Markwell, originally of Meeker, was born January 14, 1943. She died Sunday, December 20, 2020, in Tampa, Fla., at the age of 77 years. Markwell, the daughter of Colonel Elvan and Zelma Markwell, married Ronnie Sutton of Tecumseh, Okla., in 1971.

Norman Valentine Kimball

Norman Valentine Kimball was born February 14, 1932, in Davenport, Okla., and died Friday, January 15, 2021, in Chandler. He was 88 years old. Kimball served in the United States Navy and worked as a bus driver with Davenport schools. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Kimball Sr.

Clarence Wayne Cotter was born to Barbara Ann and Bobby Eugene Cotter on May 11, 1952 in Edmond, Okla. He married Ruby Leona McDaniel on January 20, 1972 in Chandler. They had five children whom they raised in Midwest City and Chandler, Okla.

Houston Glover Crittenden

Houston Glover Crittenden of Stroud was born July 13, 1942, and died Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was 78 years old. Crittenden had a career in law enforcement retiring as chief of the Stroud Police Department.

Gayle Gentry Wright

Gayle Gentry Wright of the Parkland/Agra area was born June 1, 1957, in Oklahoma City, and died Thursday, January 7, 2021, at her home. She was 63 years old. Wright, the daughter of Wayne and Patsy (Covington) Coleman, married Randall Wright on May 31, 1975, in Parkland.

Glen Leake

Glen Leake was born in Lincoln County, Oklahoma to Minnie Kalka Leake and William Eldon Leake on October 29, 1929. He died January 2, 2021. Glen was born at the beginning of the Great Depression, which were very hard times. As a young boy, there were always chores to do on the farm.

Dustin Wayne Hill

Ricky Dale Danker of Wellston was born March 7, 1959, in Stroud and died Friday, January 8, 2021, at his home. He was 61 years old. Danker, a 1977 graduate of Wellston High School, served in the United States Navy and Navy Reserves.
