Susan Yvonne Markwell, originally of Meeker, was born January 14, 1943. She died Sunday, December 20, 2020, in Tampa, Fla., at the age of 77 years.
Markwell, the daughter of Colonel Elvan and Zelma Markwell, married Ronnie Sutton of Tecumseh, Okla., in 1971.
She worked in the medical and oil/gas industries, retiring in 2007.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Julie Sutton and Bryan Salek, Sean Edward and Michelle McGee and Steven Kent and Robin Sutton; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; and other family and friends.
Burial was in Meeker, Okla., with a memorial service to be held at a later date. The family requests that memorials be made by supporting Humane Society shelters.
