Last week I sent a camera off to Wisconsin for what I hope is a rebirth for both of us. Here’s how it came about. Back in the late 1970s, I developed an affinity for twin lens reflex cameras.

Mother’s Day this weekend

As most of you are aware, this coming Sunday is Mother’s Day. I firmly believe it’s a day to honor the women in our lives. The mothers, grandmothers and other women who do so much for us men and our children.

Updates from Meeker Town Hall

April showers have sure brought out the May flowers. I thought the big storm with all the predicted hail would beat the petals off, but the storm split and went around us again. Let us keep our good practice of washing hands and social distancing of 6 feet to keep this virus out of Meeker.

Too early

I grew up during the “Great Depression.” It was far worse than what we have in this Coronavirus of today. There weren’t any food banks or the schools didn’t provide two meals a day for the children. Which I think is so good. Also there weren’t any jobs to go back to!
