Last week I had the opportunity to participate in what is probably going to be a once in a lifetime experience. Shawnee’s Bill Rapp turned 100 years old last Thursday, April 9. A large group of Shawnee Rotarians, his family and relatives and close friends honored Bill that day.

Well, Easter was certainly different this year but we at Prairie Pointe were blessed by many people who helped make our day special.

Happenings at Prairie Pointe

“The goat must browse where she is tied” reads the sign at Parker’s (Parker Sneed) on the corner of Hwy 66 and 99 in Stroud. How sage are those words today as they apply to our current situation. We are “the goat”. We have been asked to shelter in place. Many no longer have a job to go to.
