The spring sports seasons are reaching a climax, with the softball state tournaments and the state track meets this week. Area schools will be well-represented at both events. On Thursday, McLoud takes on Pott County rival Tecumseh at 10 a.m.

Chandler’s slowpitch season came to an end Monday at Tecumseh, as the Lady Lions lost a pair of games to Purcell and Bethel. They finished the season with a 20-8 record and ranked No. 7 in the season.
