Bond increased on porn suspect

A Chandler man who reportedly secured a job with Oklahoma Juvenile Affairs in Tecumseh recently faces five felonies related to alleged crimes dealing with child pornography.Three charges were originally filed in early September in Lincoln County District Court against Jerrod Tyler Collins, 37.

Bands score big at competition

Two local marching bands kicked off competition season last weekend by attending the Ironhead Invitational Contest in Eufala on Sept. 28. The Pride of Chandler won first place in the prelims and second overall in the finals, among other awards.
