Hearing set in manslaughter case

A young Prague man charged with first degree manslaughter has made his initial appearance and a pre-preliminary hearing is scheduled. A formal charge was filed March 2 this year in Lincoln County District Court against Joseph Resin Linnhuber. The charge is the result of a fatal traffic collision.

A Wellston attorney facing drug related charges and a firearms count has been bound over to stand trial. A reported accomplice accused of five drug related and firearms counts, also has been bound over to stand trial as well. They were bound over last Friday.

Lincoln County commissioners this week voted approval for mass notifications system for Emergency Management and also accepted several REAP grant awards. The mass notifications system approved is called Code Red.

A defendant facing two first degree rape charges has made his initial appearance and a pre-preliminary hearing has been set. Two felony charges of first degree rape with a victim under 14 were filed in Lincoln County District Court Jan. 24 against Dakota Shane Murch, 44.
