A Prague resident faces a felony count of failing to register as a sex offender following his arrest by Prague police recently.
Mitchell Thurman Buss, 38, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court Sep. 8 with the felony.
Special Judge Emily Mueller set bond at $5,000. He made his initial appearance on Sep. 9.
Buss is accused of on Sep. 1, by residing within the Prague City limits in Lincoln County for more than three days, of failing to register as a sex offender with the City of Prague. He was previously convicted in Tulsa County District Court of the crime of indecent exposure.
In a probable cause affidavit, Prague Police Officer Dakota Murchison states he arrested Buss on Sep. 1 and transported him to the Prague Police Department until later being booked into the Lincoln County Jail in Chandler for failing to register as a sex offender.
