Annual county-wide 4-H Fundraiser is Nov. 6

Lincoln County 4-H will host their annual 4-H Pig Roast meal and Benefit Auction on Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Lincoln County Agri-Civic Center. 4-H’ers from across the county will be working together to provide the best meal money can buy.

In addition, there will be a pie baking contest for all the 4-H affiliated chefs from our county. Members will begin serving at 6:30 p.m., with the Auction beginning at 7 p.m.

According to Ross Sestak, Extension Educator, it is the big fundraiser for the year for the organization. The proceeds from this activity go to support the many different events, activities and contests the county participates in throughout the year.

Sestak said, “Our members, who work together procuring items for the a uction and preparing the meal, feel this is a great way to give something to the county by providing great food and wonderful fun-filled auction entertainment.”

Tickets can be purchased through local 4-H Club members or at the Lincoln County OSU Extension Center for $10. Tickets will be available Saturday evening at the door for $12.
