Lauren Dollarhite, Madelyn LedfordandElizabeth Myers were named Rotarians of the Month for January by the Chandler Rotary Club.
Lauren Dollarhite is the daughter of Brandon and Rebecca Dollarhite. She has a GPA of 3.82 and has been in Honors English for three years. She also has taken concurrent classes at the University of Central Oklahoma.
Dollarhite moved to Chandler her sophomore year and joined band and choir - she’s been in both for three years. She began going to Gordon Cooper for Health Careers since her junior year and served as the HOSA chapter’s Historian. She was the outstanding student of her class and was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. Dollarhite was also selected to go to Girls State in May 2024.
This year, Dollarhite is in the Advanced Health Careers and serves as Vice President and Secretary for her chapter. She is a CNA, certified Phlebotomy Tech and an EMR, and she worksatChandlerTherapy and Living Center.
Dollarhite is active in her community and helped organize fundraisers for nursing home donations, raise supplies for an organization for new mothers, and host blood drives.
After graduation, Dollarhite plans to attend Gordon Cooper’s LPN program and become a registered nurse.
Madelyn Ledford is the daughter of Heather and Jared Ledford. She has a 3.9 GPA while ranked 15th in her class. For one year, she took Advanced English. She’s also won the Outstanding Spanish Student Award.
Madelyn has been a part of Band for seven years, during which she has made the ECOBA honor band for one year and Cimarron Valley for two years. She has also been the flute section leader from freshman to senior year and is the current drum major.
Madelyn has been in Choir for six years and is the current choir president. She has made Choir All-State for two years and the ECOCDA honor choir for six years.
She was the choir vice president in her junior year. Madelyn has also been the soprano section leader since her junior to senior year.
Other honors include Student Rotarian of the Month and Banc-First Student Board. She’s also involved in the Student Council.
Ledford has been active in the community. She has taught and helped at Faith Community Church of God, volunteered at Vacation Bible School, served at the crawfish boil, helped sort recycling items and volunteered at the annual town Christmas parade. She currently works at Randy Bowen Chevrolet GMC.
After graduation, Ledford plans to attend either OCU or UCO.
Elizabeth Myers is the daughter of Ben and Mandy Myers.ShehasaGPAof 3.88 and is ranked 16 of 82 in the Class of 2025. Myers has attended four years of AP English and has been on the Academic Team for two years. She has also beeninGiftedandTalented for four years.
Myers is active in Band, Choir, Drama and Positive Peers. She is also the Chandler High School Music Makers Vice President. She is a member of the BancFirst Student Board and was a November 2024 Lion of the Month. Myers’ community involvement includes cleaning up the local museum garden through the Student Council, volunteering for the local children’s theater, and supplying presents for children throughtheAcademic Team.
Myers has worked at the Lincoln County Farm Center and is currently employed at the Manvel Avenue Coffee Company.
After graduation, Myers plans to attend Oklahoma Baptist University.
