It’s time to sign up for Stroud Little League Baseball. Sign-up will close February 10th. If you have any questions about the program or the sign-up process, contact Levi Grammer on Facebook.

Mark your calendars now to join the Stroud Ag Boosters for a dinner, auction, and livestock show. This event will take place on Saturday, February 8th at Stroud Memorial Gym. There will be a pulled pork and bologna dinner starting at 4:30 p.m. served by the Stroud FFA. A livestock show and an auction of desserts and other items will follow the dinner. The cost is $12.00 for adults and $10 for children twelve and under.

If you or anyone you know has any interest in commercial properties in Stroud, please attend an open house, Saturday, February 1st from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 429 West Main Street. Several buildings will be open to tour.

The Stroud Community Clothing Ministry will be open today, Thursday January 30th from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The ministry is located on West Highway 66.

Stroud Middle School is hosting a basketball tournament this week, January 27th, 30th and February 1st. Check out on Facebook when our teams are playing or call the Middle School to get a complete rundown on the brackets.

The Stroud Tiger football team is going to miss their senior teammates. Two of those young men recently received honors. Dylan Baker and Kason Presley both started every game in their four years of high school. Dylan was chosen an All-Star by Class 2A, and Kason was chosen for All-State. Congratulations to the Tigers for a great season.

Congratulations are also in order for the Stroud FFA. This organization was chosen as one of the top five FFA chapters in Oklahoma. It’s another great day to be a Tiger!
