Psi Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Chapter, Stroud proudly announces Chris Hodge has been selected as its 2025 Valentine Queen.
Celebrating Valentine’s Day is a traditional event of the sorority and all chapters of the International organization elect a member to represent them asValentine Queen. Special events are planned in February to honor them.
TheValentine committee led by last year’s Queen, Sue Helms, made all arrangements for a luncheon for members and guests whentheQueenwillberecognized for her many years of service as a member.
The Queen will be honored during the coronation ceremony and given the traditional Crown, roses andcrownpinforherbadge A 41-year member of Beta Sigma Phi , Hodge holds the Master’s Degree of membership and has served the chapter in every capacity, held all offices, served or chaired every committee, has been a Woman of the Year recipient, has received the Order of the Rose for outstanding service to the sorority and is the current chapter President.
After many years in the businessworld,shebecame a licensed real estate agent in 2008 working for various companies and served as President of the Shawnee Board of Realtors and has been Realtor of the Year. After getting a Broker’s license, she opened her own business, All Seasons Realty, LLC.
She retired recently and now devotes her time to her manyhobbiessuchashome decorating ,serving her community, entertaining family and friends at many social gatherings with her sorority giving her the title of Greatest Hostess Ever.
She and her husband of 55 years, Jim Hodge, reside in Davenport, OK, and are members of the First Baptist Church of Davenport.
The Hodges have three daughters and one son. Daughters Michelle Doherty and Davina Mc-Gee are also her Sisters by virtue of their membership in Beta Sigma Phi as well and both are 25 year members.
The Hodges raised Michelle and Davina in Stroud and she was an active volunteer serving on Jacob’s Ladder as well as serving on her church board.
The Hodges also have ten grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild When she joined Beta Sigma Phi 41 years ago, she only had one brother and was grateful to have so many “Sisters.”
Little did she know that in 2020 she would find out she had four biological sisters and 3 more brothers, a family she never knew she had.
