A Shawnee woman faces a felony count of driving while under the influence of alcohol following her arrest this month in Prague.
Formal charges were filed Jan. 6, 2025 in Lincoln County District Court against Angelina Elaine Bell, 26. Her bond has been set at $5,000 and she made her initial appearance on Jan. 16.
She is scheduled to make a further initial appearance at 9 a.m. on March 27.
The charge alleges that Bell on Jan. 1 this year wasdrivingandoperating a certain vehicle over and on a public highway at 5th Street and Jim Thorpe in Prague while she was under the influence of intoxicating alcohol.
Supplemental information filed by Assistant District Attorney Rachel Thompson shows that Bell was convicted in Pottawatomie County District Court on May 4, 2023 of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
