Commissioners meeting

Lincoln County commissioners during a recent special meeting adopted a resolution for a CDBG grant application for a Rescue Mini Pumper for the Jacktown Fire Department.

In connection with that, they also adopted a Fair Housing Resolution and Fair Housing Month Proclamation. They approved a Citizen Participation Plan, recipient disclosure update report, leverage notification report form and other supporting documentation for the CDBG grant application.

Commissioners also discussed the county’s FiscalYear2026CountyImprovement Road and Bridge Allocation and held up on approving a change order for the OSU Extension Office Building.

They approved Nextiva Recording Services for the Sheriff’s Office and approved the Juul Settlement Distribution Statement for E-Cigarette Settlement.

In other business, commissioners: Discussed the Safe Streets for All Plan. Approved a notice of change form for District Attorney’s Council federal grants division.

Approved a Central Oklahoma Workers Consortium Operations Agreement.

Approved a Sam’s Club membership for Lincoln County.

Took no action on approving an oil and gas lease with Prime NGL, LLC.

Adopted a resolution setting up CBRI account for District 2 for an engineering project on two bridges.

Adopted a resolution appointing requesting, receiving, inventory officer for County Clerk and Fair Board.

Approved the Purchase Card Payment approval form.
