Dale Board of Education members have approved updating First United Bank signatures to current signatures for Will Jones, Erick Muncy and Tonya Landreth removing Charlie Dickinson, Ky Wilkins and Paula Ramsey.
School Supt. Will Jones during his report advised board members that Middle School Principal Kim Powell will retire at the end of this school year.
As part of his superintendent’s report, Jones went over the financials which board members later confirmed.
Warrants through December of 2025 are $3,713,006. Through December of 2024 they were $3,360,948. Jones noted the warrants were up some due to the technology investment that has been made.
The Building Fund Cash Balance through December of 2025 is $600,137 and in December of 2024 it was $508,950.
General Funeral Cash Balance in December of 2025 was $1,614,684 and in December of 2024 was $1,725,631.
State aid through December of 2025 is $1,987,553 compared with $1,887,683 in December of 2024, an increase of $99,870..
County Sales Tax Balance in December of 2025 is $386,498 and in December of 2024 it was $231,238 up approximately $155,260 from a year ago.
December revenue was $33,281.
Jones said Donation balance in December of 2025 is $89,632 and in December of 2024 was $73,794. up $15,838.
Total Operating Funds through December, (General plus building and county sales tax) for December of 2024 was $2,465,819 and in December of 2025 is $2,601,319.
