The Lincoln County Commissioners approved a CBRI Resolution for District 3 in their regular meeting on March 2.
The resolution will provide District 3 with $356,000 out of the CBRI fund to fix a mile and a half of road, with the full project costing approximately $446,000.
The commissioners also voted to accept the REAP Grant award for District 3 and NE Lincoln County Fire. They also approved expanding the scope for the City of Prague’s BUILD grant application. Prague will include in the application that the county will prepare South 3540 and South 3520 roads as detour routes, and then take care of them after the project is completed.
The county will not incur any cost. The commissioners also approved letters of support for both Prague and Chandler as they apply for BUILD grants. Chandler’s grant application is related to the regional airport runway extension project. It is to cover a new road, paving roads around the airport, and repairing roads in the area.
They also approved the Use Tax Resolution for the Davenport Municipal Road Drilling Activity Fund project. The Davenport Town Board has approved the contract, and it’s now with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to sign and return. Once that’s done, the County will get the specifications from the road engineer.
At the previous meeting in February, the Commissioners approved funding of $120,000 to the town to help fix drainage.
Other items approved include a change order from Ascend Commercial for the jail renovation, dropping the price of a new door to $10,000. The Commissioners also improved the recording of meetings and plan to post them on their YouTube channel, and the termination of the iSolved contract.
They also approved the Lincoln County Safety Policy and an expenditure of $2,400 to replace toilets and one urinal in the courthouse.
