I am honored to introduce myself to the community as your new Postmaster. My name is Michael Fesler, and I am very excited to begin this journey serving the residents and businesses of Wellston, Oklahoma.
To this role, I bring well-rounded Postal Service experience and a desire to serve. I started my career as a Clerk in McLoud, OK in August 1999. I then served as a Letter Carrier in Tecumseh, Prague, and Shawnee, Ok until May 2023, when I was promoted to Supervisor, Customer Services in Moore, OK. I served as Manager, Customer Services at Shartel Station and Midwest City prior to transferring to Wellston. I look forward to providing the best customer service possible to our valued customers in Wellston.
As Postmaster, I believe local engagement matters.That means understanding the needs of our customers, supporting our employees, and helping ensure the Post Office remains a dependable part of the community. Whether someone is running a business or simply stopping in at the Wellston Post Office to mail a letter or package, every interaction matters.
As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, it is a good time to reflect on the institutions that have long helped connectAmericans across time and distance. The Postal Service is proud to be one of them.
