It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of MargeryAnnDutton, a remarkable woman whogracedthisworld on Sept. 2, 1940, in the warm embrace of Michigan City, Michigan, to Thelma andRaymondWhite.
She peacefully departed on June 24, 2026, at the age of 85 at the Meeker Nursing Center.
A true patriot, Margery was deeply involved with the VFW Post Auxiliary for many years. Her service and commitment to veterans reflected her love for her country and her generous spirit. Margery was preceded in death by her beloved husband, daughter, three stepsons, a sister and many dear friends. She leaves behind her two devoted children, along with a legacy of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward her spirit of kindness, resilience and sarcasm.
Memorial contributions can be made in Margery’s honor to the VFW Post Auxiliary in her memory, ensuring that Margery’s legacy of service and love continues to shine brightly. A private service was held in her honor.Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
