A bench warrant with a $100,000 bond has been issued for a man facing six counts of child sexual abuse.
Little Joe Bueno, 34, was charged with six felony counts of child sexual abuse on July 29 for alleged abuse that took place from around January 2022 to November 2022, when the victim was around 11 or 12 years old. The charges were filed by District Attorney Adam Panter.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the Lincoln County DA’s investigators were contacted on Aug. 21, 2025, by Det. Frieri-Gaines from the Racine Police Department in Wisconsin regarding a juvenile sexual abuse case. Foreman received the detective’s report stating that a juvenile girl had reported that she had been sexually assaulted in Oklahoma by her stepfather at that time.
The report included a forensic interview with the victim done in Wisconsin, outlining several occasions where Bueno allegedly assaulted the victim while they were living in Stroud. The report stated that the victim was credible.
On Sept. 25, 2025, the investigator interviewed the victim’s mother, who stated that she believed her daughter. She also said that while the relationship started out well, Bueno allegedly became abusive later on. She ended the relationship in October or November 2022 when DHS informed her that if she stayed with him, they would remove the children.
Investigators Wade Martin and Tony Foreman interviewed Bueno on Oct. 2, 2025, while he was incarcerated at Dick Connor Correctional Facility. Bueno denied the allegations.
Currently, Bueno is serving a sentence at Jess Dunn Correctional Facility.
