Football in Lincoln County officially gets underway this week as four teams kick off their 2019 seasons with Week Zero games. Week Zero is the term used for an 11th week in which teams can schedule one of their 10 regular season football games by sacrificing their second preseason scrimmage. Chandler will again feature Jack Gray as the team’s head coach. Last year was his inaugural season and the team went 5-5 overall while finished 3-4 while competing in the tough 2A-2 district. The Lions barely missed a playoff berth. Chandler will once again be competing in the 2A-2 District along with Henryetta, Holdenville, Jones, Kellyville, Meeker, Okemah and Prague.
