Bonnie Jean “Nannie” Culie of Edmond, Okla., was born August 12, 1945, in Pekin, Ill., and died Thursday, August 29, 2019, in Edmond. She was 74 years old. Culie, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Garrett) Grissom, married Edward I. Culie in Bakersfield, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son Robert Gene Culie. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Dianna Culie of Wellston; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Services were held Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Tryon Christian Union Church with Pastor Steven Grother officiating. Burial followed at Carney Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home in Guthrie, Okla.
