Juanita (Nita) Bryson, 77, of Midwest City passed from this life to receive her rewards In Heaven on February 18, 2020 in Midwest City, OK. She was born to Bee Brumfield and Elsie Ennis Brumfield on May 18, 1942 in Okemah, OK.

Nita was a graduate of Midwest City High School and the University of Oklahoma. She was employed at Tinker Air Force Base for 37 years before her retirement in 1997. She moved to Choctaw in 1964.

She was a faithful member of the Choctaw Church of the Nazarene since 1980 and loved to sing in church. She was active in the Choctaw Roundup Club and competed in barrel racing. She loved to entertain and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Larry Bryson.

Survivors include two sons, Wes Bryson and wife Michelle of McLoud and Curtis Bryson of Wichita Falls, TX; a brother Dee Brumfield and wife Betty of Harrah; a sister Nova Montgomery and husband Don of Midwest City; five grandchildren, Tanner Bryson and wife Courtney, Kayla and husband Troy Cox, Tyler Bryson, Nicole Bryson and Ashley Bryson; and eight greatgrandchildren.

Memorial services were held Tuesday at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene under direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah. The family would like to express gratitude to Humanity Hospice and Fountain Brook Assisted Living Center for special care shown for their loved one.
