Wellston Elementary School Librarian Janet Humphrey is pictured with students in grades three through fi ve who read three or more books from the 2021 Children’s Sequoyah Masterlist. After reading three books, students were eligible to vote for their favorite book. The winning book was Stargazing by Jen Wang. Connor Payne, a third grader, was also recognized for reading seven Sequoyah books, the most books read by one student at Wellston Elementary.
