Evelyn Billie James of Meeker was born May 11, 1947, in Grover, Colo. She died Saturday, November 14, 2020, in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 73 years.
James, the daughter of Harry William Hartwell and Pauline Iona Eversole, married Coy James on March 27, 1989.
She was a fire fighter with the Chandler Fire Department. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband;

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Jackie Wilson, Brenda Maine, and Jessica and Billy Hilles; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
