David Dean Curry of Davenport was born on February 21, 1934, in Kendrick, Okla. He died Thursday, December 19, 2019, in Meeker at the age of 85 years.
Curry, the son of William Arthur “W.A.” and Margaret (Galloway) Curry, married Fredia Cook in 1952.
He worked in the oil and gas industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his brother George Curry.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Tammy Curry of Davenport, Randy and Brenda Curry of Chandler; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Dave Kane of Luther, Okla., and Linda and Troy Crail of Austin, Texas; and five grandchildren and their spouses.
He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
A graveside service was held Monday, December 23, 2019, at Davenport Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
