Lincoln County players harvested several all-district awards this week.
Caden Wolford, a four-year starter from Meeker, was named District 2A-2’s player of the year, along with Elijah Reed from Jones.
A 6-1, 190-pound hammer, started defensively as a freshman and was the Bulldogs’ featured running back as a sophomore and junior and early this season before switching to quarterback.
Wolford could run over lineman and linebackers and could outrun safeties and cornerbacks, making him a nightmare for opposing defenses.
Traydon Richardson was named the district’s defensive player of the year.
Physical and mobile, he anchored the Lions’ defense, which had three shutouts and three other games in which they allowed two or fewer touchdowns. Other All-District honorees were:

Konnor Almand, Chandler - Kicker of the Year.
