Dale school board

Dale Board of Education members this week hired several personnel and approved a plan for use of Esser III funds. The board also approved the 20232024 salary schedule and school principals presented their reports as the new school year began on Wednesday of this week.

Chandler freshman wins big in regional

Brooklyn Hammons, an incoming freshman at Chandler, won the 100 meters and took third in 200 meter dash and the long jump at the Region 9 Championship in Jonesboro, Ark.

Chandler rodeo this weekend

The 83rd annual Chandler open rodeo is coming up. Participants of each event will compete for prize money, awarded to winning contestant in their event, at the Round Up Club Arena Friday and Saturday. These events include: Bareback Riding, Ranch Bronc Riding, Tie Down Roping, Open Barrels, Jr.
