Metheny moves to high school principal

The Chandler Board of Education this week hired a new high school principal, swore in a newly appointed board member and accepted the resignations of several people. School Supt. Scott Baade said the board hired Geoff Metheny as high school principal for the 2023-2024 school year.

Lincoln and Pott counties were well represented at the basketball state tournaments last week in Oklahoma City. Dale won the boys and girls state championships in Class 2A, Prague’s boys made it to the semifinals in Class 3A and North Rock Creek’s boys played in the Class 4A quarterfinals.
