It’s been a while since I touched on a topic that really is important to me. It’s probably important to most people, also.That is friendship. I’m not sure a person can have too many friends.

Well, it’s that time again. This weekend, beginning Friday, April 4, and running through Sunday, April 6, Pottawatomie County’s Spring cleanup is being held, District 1 Commissioner Melissa Dennis said.It runs daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Driving down Main Street it was sad to see the former flower shop’s sign had been taken down. It’s been a long time since Stroud has been without a flower shop. Over my lifetime many have come and gone – from Parker’s to Bettina’s and from Leona’s to OJ’s and others along the way.
