Taking on the state’s Class B defending state champions on the road in their first contest of the 2025 football season, the Davenport Bulldogs fell to Weleetka 48-14.It was also the first contest for new Davenport head football coach Grant Powell.

KennedyAllen gave up just three hits and two runs in three games and led the Chandler Lady Lions to their third straight 66 Conference tournament championship last week.Chandler had a bye the first round and beat Meeker, 17-0, in the semifinals on Friday.
