Thank you to everyone who has purchased veteran’s banners displayed on Main Street. We currently have eighty-seven banners honoring our veterans, both living and deceased and current service members. We have three new banners that will be going up soon. Courtney Cornett purchased a two-sided banner to honor her grandfather Bob Trout and her brother Adam Tuttle, Roberta Johnson bought one to honor her husband, Louie Johnson, who is a SHS 1966 graduate. Lana Gaye Mills Files, Mike Mills and Lori Mills Woodall purchased a banner in memory of their dad Lantos Mills. Lantos was married to Georgia Smalley Mills who graduated from Stroud High School. Liz Fasching is honoring her son, Stroud graduate Earl Matthew Fasching, with a banner.
