The Bulldogs finished last year with wins in two of the final three games and hope to use that as a springboard to the playoffs in 2025.This year, the Dogs play their first four games at home and have six home games.Second-year head coach Allen Potts will field a youthful team with just six seniors.

The Lady Bulldogs had put together a streak of 5 wins in 7 games before losing a couple of games in the 66 Conference Tournament last weekend.They have one of the youngest teams around, with nine freshmen and sophomores on their 14-player roster.

The Bulldogs will relay on underclassmen for leadership as they look to return to the Class B playoffs under first-year head coach Grant Powell.Four of the 10 games will be played on Thursdays: Sep. 25 at Depew, Oct. 16 at home against Olive, Oct. 23 at Waukomis and the regular-season finale on Nov.

Despite having only five upperclassmen, the Lady Bulldogs have made a lot of noise this season, getting off to a 12-4 start and being ranked No. 17 in Class B.They’ve punched above their weight, too, going 2-1 against Class 4A schools.

The Red Devils got their season off in high gear, clubbing Classen 45-8 last week.They’re off in Week 1 before hosting North Rock Creek on Sep. 12. They’ll be looking to avenge a 49--14 loss to the Class 3A Cougars last year.

Prague’s youthful Lady Devils have waded through a tough schedule and put up a 7-4 record and reached the finals of the 66 Conference tournament.Four of the players are batting higher than .400 through the first 11 games. Junior Jalyn Goodnight is at .472, sophomore Taelyr Norman is at .

Frisbies to stand trial

The Assistant Police Chief of Prague and his wife who are facing a total of 43 felony charges between them related to child sexual and physical abuse have pleaded innocent to the counts.Earlier this year they were bound over to stand trial.
