Lincoln County Commissioners this week adopted two resolutions and tabled another, and authorized the sheriff to apply for a grant and approved and signed a performance grant.

Commission Chairman Lee Doolen said a CARES Act resolution was adopted for reimbursement of funds that will be placed into the account it was taken from.

Doolen said a county road machinery and equipment revolving fund resolution was adopted for District 1 Commissioner Carl Munson so he can try and purchase equipment.

A load limit resolution in District 2 was tabled after Commissioner Troy Evans said he wasn’t ready for it, the chairman said.

Commissioners authorized Lincoln County Sheriff Charlie Dougherty to apply for a $10,000, 2020 Justice Agreement grant that he will use to purchase radios, Doolen stated.

Following an executive session, the commissioners agreed to continue the employment of Virgil Wilson and changed his title to facilities manager, Doolen explained.

The commissioners decided against continuing the employment of Jackie Roberson, but voted to offer him a contract to take care of the landscaping around the courthouse, Doolen said.

Commissioners approved a contract at around $4,000 a month for cleaning the courthouse, Doolen noted.

Doolen explained the 2020 Emergency Management Performance grant with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce was both approved and signed.

He said commissioners exercised the option to renew an excavator lease with CAT financial in District 2.

Commissioners approved change orders for the electric project at the Fairgrounds, but tabled a quote for stem wall work on the West Wall project at the Fairgrounds. Doolen said commissioners want more information and additional quotes.

Commissioners agreed to begin the bid process on county property located at Tract 2, lots 20-21 in Prague.

They also approved a Declaration of Surplus in District 3. Doolen said that was for a rubber tire roller the district still had.
