Carney board member chosen

Voters in the Carney School District have elected a new board member and two of three candidates vying for a Prague School Board office will square off in the April 2 general election.

Charles Wright has been elected to the Carney School Board.

He received 84 votes in the recent election while JaNetta Milburn-Barr had14votesandRamona Perry got five.

There were three candidates in the Prague School election, Travis Provaznik, Coty Davis and Adam Hogue. Provaznik and Davis will be on the April 2 ballot.

Provaznik received 294 votes, Davis had 218 and Hogue 129.
