The Chandler School Board had a relatively quick meeting on Monday.
It voted to approve the school lease agreement for the 83.51 acres, with the terms beginning Jan. 1, 2026 and ending on Dec. 31. 2026. An auction is to be held at the superintendent’s office on Friday, Dec. 5 at 9 a.m.
Additionally, the board approved a collection of new or revised policies. They accepted the revised BEC-Executive Sessions, revised BBF-Code of Ethics for Board Members, the new CKAK-Behavioral Threat Assessment and the new CKAK-Behavioral Threat Assessment Checklist. The Board did not approve the DOB-Due Process for Administrators as they want to take more time to look it over.
The Board also approved the regular board meeting dates, times, and places for the calendar year 2026. Additionally, they accepted the Treasurer’s report, Activity Fund report, new encumbrances and change orders, and administrative reports.
