Three felonies and a misdemeanor were filed recently against a Cushing man following a pursuit in Lincoln County that reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour.
Lincoln County deputies arrested Tyler Zachary Zane Flint, 22, and booked him into the Lincoln County Jail in Chandler.
Formal charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court on June 25. He is accused of possession of a firearm after former felony conviction, possession of firearm during commission of a felony and possession of a stolen vehicle, all felonies.
He also faces a single misdemeanor count of eluding/attempting to elude police officer.
Associate District Judge Sheila Kirk set a $10,000 bond and Flint appeared before her on June 28. The matter was further set for a pre-preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. on July 1.
Judge Kirk on July 1 ordered him to return to court on the matter at 1:30 p.m. July 8.
According to a probable cause affidavit, the pursuit started in Payne County when Cushing police were chasing after Flint but had lost him just outside of their jurisdiction.
After the vehicle driven by Flint went out of control and struck an embankment, Flint began running from the pickup truck. He was arrested a short time later after deputies and members of the Special Operations team closed in on him.
