Lincoln County commissioners this week approved the 2025-2026 budget and agreed to the Lincoln County Fairgrounds Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust Wellness policy.
Commissioners also adopted a resolution appointing Joss Bennett from the Arlington Fire Department as a new District 1 Lincoln County Ambulance Board member.
Following a lengthy discussion, they voted for Five Tool Management to research and apply for the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust grant with the Lincoln County Fair Board.
In other business, commissioners: Voted to approve for Chandler Regional Airport Authority’s scope for the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development grant application.
Approved sponsorship of the Northeast Fire Department Rural Economic Action Plan (REAP) grant.
Authorized the Election Board to go out for bids for ballot printing.
Approved Tru Technologies for Fire Alarm monitoring at OSU Extension and also approved Tru Technologies for building control access. Adopted a Use Tax resolution to fund Eagleview Aerials for Assessor software.
Authorized bids be taken for Annex and Courthouse horseshoe parking lot resurfacing and sealing project.
Authorized bids be sought for remodel of the Commissioners’ office.
Amended the Equipment Revolving fund resolution.
Amended a resolution regarding a road striping project.
Amended the Lincoln County Investment policy.
Took no action on employee parking.
Took no action on increasing tort limits.
Adopted a resolution authorizing use of GeographicInformation Systems 911 grant reimbursement for the Emergency Management building project.
