Lincoln County commissioners this week approved a budget contract with the OSU Extension Office and also approved the ARPA Funds Expenditure Documentation form for the OSU Extension Office building.

County Clerk Alicia Wagnon said there is $1,128,380 remaining in the ARPA funds and reminded commissioners the funds must be under contract by the end of 2024.

Commissioners adopted a resolution setting up an account in the ARPA funds for the OSU Extension Office building project.

They approved a quote for the District Attorney’s Office remodel from Jerry McCommas for $43,000. The other quote was from Eric Fowbie for $35,000.

Commissioners accepted a $60,000 bid from Fire Masters for the purchase of a used fire truck for Central Lincoln County Fire Protection District No. 4 (Sparks) and approved a contract of a REAP grant account for the Sparks Fire Department.

Sparks Fire Department received a $50,000 REAP grant and has the $10,000 to match it.

They also adopted a resolution setting up a REAP grant account for the Sparks Fire Department.

Commissioners authorized Emergency Management to apply for a grant to Fire House Subs for active shooting training.

They took no action on accepting quotes from Apprentice for IT services for the DA’s office and the OSU Extension Office.

In other business, commissioners: Approved an interlocal agreement between the Board of County Commissioners in Pottawatomie County and the Lincoln County Board of County commissioners.

Approved a plat map for Quail Ridge Subdivision in Davenport.

Approved OMMA funds for the purchase of a grapple and dump trailer.

Adopted a resolution accepting a donation from CenterPoint Holdings, LLC for District No. 1, Approved an interlocal cooperative agreement with Circuit Engineering District No. 4.

Approved an ODOT form for District No. 1. Took no action on approving Lincoln County’s Temporary Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2024-2025.

Adopted a resolution establishing accounts for a bridge in District No. 2 and two bridges in District No. 3.

Approved District No. 3’s annual road certification. Districts No.1 and 2 were not ready yet.
