Cushing woman issued bench warrant

A$100,000benchwarrant has been issued for the arrest of a woman charged with a felony last December and another one in May of this year.

Aimee Desiree Moore, 45, of Cushing, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on Dec. 28, 2023 with knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property, a felony, and possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a misdemeanor.

She is also accused on Dec.21,2023ofconcealing firearms, a wheeler and other miscellaneous items thathad been stolen from the same individual that another defendant was charged with concealing them from.

ThepossessionofCDS charges her with having methamphetamineonthe same date.

She appeared before Judge Mueller on Dec. 22 who set her bond at $5,000. That was later reduced to $3,000.

Judge Mueller continued an appearance for April 11 and she was ordered to come with an attorney.

In the meantime, on May 16, she was charged again with possession of CDS. She was having a court appearance on both charges on July 2.

She was due in court on July 2 to appear before District Judge John Canavan for her arraignment but failed to show up. The judge, noting Moore failed to appear after being called three times in open court, issued a $100,000 bench warrant for her arrest
