Monday was the official start of high school football in Oklahoma and the Chandler Lions joined other schools in getting their first practice under their belts. Practices are helmets-only until Friday, when players may don their pads. The season begins on Aug. 28, when Prague plays Classen in a Zero Week game. North Rock Creek goes to Marlow the next night, then the remainder of the area schools open on Sep. 5.
