Each faces charges of knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property; unlawful possession of Controlled Drug with intent to distribute, both felonies; and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Each has appeared before Special Judge Emily Mueller.

Bond for Butts is set at $10,000; Becker’s bond is set at $15,000; bond for Case is $15,000 and Griffin’s bond is set at $10,000.

Butts has waived a preliminary hearing and her arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 1.

Case’s next court appearance is set for Nov. 21.

Pre-preliminary hearings for Griffin and Becker are scheduled for Oct. 17.

In Count 1, each is accused of knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property on about Sep. 11, 2024 by concealing a deer stand, saw, hunting gear, knives, egg hatcher and other miscellaneous items stolen from Kadden Caroll when each defendant knew or had reason to believe those items had been stolen.

Count 2 charges each on the same day of possessing methamphetamine, a Classified Dangerous Substance with the intent to distribute.

In Count 3, they are accused of possessing digital scales used by abusers of drugs classified as CDS without having any medical or other lawful need requiring possession of the paraphernalia.

In a probable cause affidavit, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Capt. Larry Stover writes that Deputy Kevin Chapman responded on Sep. 7 to a report of a burglary.

When he arrived, the affidavit states, he visited with Kadden Carroll who informed him that he had found his Conex style storage container unsecured and the lock cut off.

From there, the investigation unfolded, with Deputy Chapman and Capt. Stover continuing the probe.

The affidavit notes as they pursued the investigation, Stover arrested Becker, Case, Griffin and Butts and they were all taken to the Lincoln County Jail.
