The length of time is given to those who labor for the good of all man. I guess it is just about impossible to explain, but people who do things have more time even if they don’t realize it. I noticed this when I took off to have so-called fun that time was different. I’ve talked about this before, but I am going to bring this up again. It was a time when I was going to be studying the Bible to learn the meaning of scriptures and words. I said to myself that I would sit down and spend two hours studying then go to bed. I read and studied until I thought two hours had gone by. So, I looked at the clock, and it was only five minutes that had passed. I continued on reading and studied to finish the two hours. I was getting kind of tired and thinking that two hours had surely passed. I looked again and saw only another five minutes. Now I realized something was going on, so for the third time I made myself attempt to make the two hours. After a while I was so tired, I thought surely, I had spent two hours, but when looking at the clock only another five minutes went by. Looking at all I had done with all my papers of notes and my references to Hebrew text I realized it would have taken hours yet God did not let time pass. If we could realize that God is in control, we would not be facing things as we are today. Maybe God will save us from all we have become. We look at man so if they are doing things that are good, it is God. He will do things through us if we are willing. If only we can stop and see that it is Him that is in control, and if we try ourselves it will fail.
Everything we do is supposed to be God in action. Our purpose is to be like Him. Can we believe that? I think we should take heed and not go back to the fun and games we spent our entire time on and instead talk with the Lord. We need to watch and pray so He doesn’t pass us by even if we are sitting in church as He does it.
