A Meeker man who was arrested after officers served a search warrant on his residence across from the Town Hall has pleaded guilty and drawn suspended sentences.
A formal felony charge was filed in Lincoln County District Court Sep. 23, 2022 against John Henry Hagar, 34. He was accused of possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with the intent to distribute.
Hagar also was facing a misdemeanor count of possession of CDS.
During a felony disposition docket recently before District Judge John Canavan, Hagar, as the result of a plea bargain, pleaded guilty to both charges.
On the felony, Judge Canavan handed Hagar a five-year suspended sentence in the Department of Corrections, a $100 fine, $100 VCA and court costs.
On Count 2, the misdemeanor, Hagar was handed a term one-year suspended term in the Lincoln County Jail, $100 fine, $100 VCA and court costs with the sentences to run concurrent with each other.
The judge ordered Hagar to obtain a drug and alcohol assessment and complete all recommended follow up treatment, perform 40 hours of Community Service, pay 991 fees and pay lab fees.
