Miss Lincoln County Organization officials announced that the 2nd annual Miss Lincoln County and Miss Lincoln County’s Outstanding Teen Competitions will be 6 p.m. Jan. 7, 2023 at the Prague Auditorium.
Sixteen candidates from a 75- mile radius of Stroud will compete, said Miss Lincoln County Executive Director, Stacey Spitler.
“Candidates in the Miss category will compete in four phases of competition including talent, interview, and Red During their year of service, Miss Lincoln County and Miss Lincoln County’s Outstanding Teen will travel across Lincoln County and the area speaking to business leaders, community groups and citizens about her platform issue and encouraging the communities to become involved in their causes and will be actively participating in community events.
They will also represent Lincoln County at next year’s Miss Oklahoma and Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen Competitions at the RiverSpirit Hotel & Resort in Tulsa in June.
The current Miss Lincoln County, Arriah Herrin was named a non-finalist Talent Award Winner at Miss Oklahoma.
Miss Lincoln County’s Outstanding Teen, Leah Hughes was named as a Top 10 Semi-finalist and awarded the Overall Interview Award Winner.
The Miss Lincoln County Competition along with the Miss Oklahoma Scholarship Organization provides opportunities for young women to achieve their personal and professional ambitions. Contestants also participate in community service activities and develop leadership skills that help them excel in their chosen career and life goals.
Tickets at the door will be $20, which includes the program book/Tickets for children under 10 will be $5 (no program book), payable by cash.
