Liz Swindell, a junior at North Rock Creek High School, received a perfect score on her ACT - a 36.

Principal Chad Brooking said he is absolutely thrilled to have a student like Swindell achieve a perfect score. He added that it’s an incredible accomplishment and testament to her dedication, hard work, and intellectual prowess.

“Having a student achieve a perfect score on theACT brings immense pride to our school community. It highlights the quality of education we provide and the caliber of students we nurture,” Brooking said. “Liz’s accomplishment serves as an inspiration for her peers and demonstrates what is possible with determination and focus.”

Liz Swindell is the daughter of Ryan and Laura Swindell. She’s attended NRC Public Schools since prekindergarten. Other accomplishments include being a member of the Oklahoma Small Schools Band Directors Association Small School All-State Honor Band in 10th and 11th grades and the Oklahoma Music Educators Association All-State Honor Band in 11th grade. She’s also been a member of the Oklahoma Bandmates Association 2A-4A All-Star Jazz Band and won third place in English Literature and German 1 at the Oklahoma Association for Academic Competition Tournament of Champions in 10th grade.

Her clubs and organizations include North Rock Creek Band (fifth through 11th grade), Academic Team (sixth through 10th grade), and Gifted and Talented (fourth through 11th grade).

Brooking said Swindell exemplifies the quintessential student at North Rock Creek and consistently demonstrates remarkable dedication to her studies, as well as her many extracurricular activities.

“Liz upholds the highest standards of conduct. Her embodiment of our school motto, ‘We are preparing students for success by educating the whole child,’ serves as a shining example to her peers and reflects our collective efforts in nurturing not only academic excellence but also character development,” he said.
