The Prague School Board held two special meetings recently to approve the FY25 audit and interview superintendent candidates.
In the meeting held on Feb. 25, the Board approved the FY25 audit report presented on Feb. 9 by Bledsoe, Hewett and Gullekson. They also approved emcumburances and went into executive session to review candidates for the superintendent position. Those present were Coty Davis, Board member; Levi Lee, Board Member; Jarrod VanZant, Board president; Fred Simek, Board vice-president; Rainey Carter, clerk; Kimberly Fleak, current superintendent; and David Johnson. No action was taken on that.
At a second special meeting held on March 3, they called another executive session to interview superintendent candidates. Those present were Coty Davis, Board member; Levi Lee, Board Member; Jarrod VanZant, Board president; Fred Simek, Board vice-president; Rainey Carter, clerk; Kimberly Fleak, current superintendent; and David Johnson. No action was taken.
The next regular meeting of the Prague School Board was scheduled for March 9.
